The Data Component for Adobe™ Flex™ (in beta) is the easiest way to retrieve dynamic data into your Flex application without having to write code on the server. By dropping this component into your Flex project and in a matter of minutes you will be retrieving a list of records by category or a single record by id. The records contain a predetermined set of fields such as name, description, date created, etc. In addition, you can add your own fields easily. Each field can have its own formating or formatter allowing you to display the data in the way you want and need.
