The Countdown Component (beta) provides you with a powerful and easy to use component to display a countdown. Provide the date or time and a countdown until that time will be displayed in the text you specify. You can also set a count up or time since a date or time. Also included is the DateManager class. This class allows you to manipulate the date and time easily. Update the countdown at an interval you specify. Supports styles and skinning. Comes with source code. |

Features:
- Extends Adobe's™ TextInput class (no need to relearn a new system)
- You define how the text should look. Countdown tokens are replaced by time values. For example, "Countdown until 2009 is [d] days [h] hours [m] minutes" results in "Countdown until 2009 is 245 days 23 hours 15 minutes."
- You control how often the time is updated. You can select day, hour, minute, second, every tenth of a second, every hundredth of a second, every millisecond or once.
